Walking along the Vicentina coast in Portugal

Explore Vicentina Nature Park’s coastal paths & trails – wonderful walking in sunny Portugal

Located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal, in the heart of the SW Alentejo and Vicentina Coast Natural Park, Vicentina Travel is a Local Tour Operator that promotes Self-Guided Hiking Holidays to individuals and small groups. Our guests walk along Rota Vicentina, a network of walking trails in SW Portugal, totalling 400 km to walk, along the most beautiful and best preserved coastline of Southern Europe!

We are a micro and local company with 10 years of experience, and this has allowed us to grow our expertise focused on local sustainable development and ecological awareness. We only work with local companies, promoting highest quality along the trail. Booking with us you are contributing directly to the protection and improvement of the nature & trail. Vicentina Travel promotes packages that include hotels reservations in small B&B hotels (upgradeable), as well as luggage transport between accommodations. Adding extra nights and tailor-made proposals are also available on request.

Walking along this beautiful coastline, you will follow two different linear paths, the Historical Way, and the Fishermen’s Trail as well as several Circular Routes. You will experience two unique worlds; a living and authentic rural culture and a surprisingly wild coastline – both fully within South West Alentejo and Vicentina Coast Natural Park.
