Walking in the Périgord Noir

Walks either begin on your doorstep or after a short drive. Walking routes are in rolling low hills with beautiful views on the valleys and rivers, relatively easy walking with a few short steep climbs on each trail.

View from Domme over fields, meadows and woordland towards a countryside village House hewn out of rockface

The nature is splendid, quiet and very varied (meadows, forests, fields), also as we will be walking in both Périgord Noir and Causses du Quercy.

Next to the famous attractions we will walk though and visit (gardens Eyrignac, Domme/Roque Gageac/Beynac, Rocamadoure, Padirac, Eyzies, St Genies), the area is scattered with picturesque hamlets and castles.

As we are not walking from one place to the other, there are no dull walking stretches, no need to be on time at a set destiny, and no packing and de-packing every day. Focus is on enjoying the beautiful walks and surroundings, having an enjoyable stay with the flexibility to adjust the walks when the group wants to.
