Accommodation in Tirol

Schloss Schneeberg was oringinally a castle built in 1297, which after burning down in the 18th century, was rebuilt as a residential home with the original tower still remaining.

Having been in the family for centuries, the house is steeped with history and an extremely interesting place to stay. The house is spacious and warm, filled with character and stories demonstrated by the display of items, trinkets and prints collected over many generations. A wonderful place to return to after a day walking in the mountains.

Bedroom Bathroom Living space

We have 5 homily and welcoming bedrooms for up to 10 guests at a time. There is a large living room with TV and reading spaces and a separate dining room. We have a large assortment of games and collection of movies for guests to use. We do our upmost to make you feel relaxed and welcome in the Schloss!

Breakfast through the summer is taken out on the turret which has wonderful views of the village of Trins and the mountains. Breakfast includes breads, yoghurt, fruit, muesli and cereals and eggs. Lunch is a simple packed lunch with sandwich, fruit and snack. And dinner is a menu of healthy, home cooked food which uses local, organic produce as much as possible.

Trins is a lovely village; peaceful, tranquil and filled with natural beauty. The mountains surrounding the village are some of the richest with flora in the Alps.
